I have been with your company since 2013, I have been
I have been with your company since 2013, I have been renting a house for the past seven years with a pool. Each year the month that is opens my rent is increased by $200.00 dollars to pay for the maintenance. with the pool opening I always show an increase in my electric and water bill, which is to be expected, but this year my water usage has doubled and my gallon usage had doubled and exceeded more than 12001 gallon in one month. this has never happen too this extent before. I question the maintenance guy and explained that instead of adding water once a week , I now have to add water 2 -3 times a week to keep the water level where it needs to be. he stated that is could be a possible leak in the intake vents. I spoke to my landlord regarding my concerns. he asked me to fill the pool back up ( ran the water for 6 hrs) , and then to take pictures of the water level. This was done starting Saturday the 29th thru yesterday. each picture shows the water level decreasing, he stated that it was normal evaporation , I then stated that if this was normal, why in the last 6 years had this not happen before, I ask him to have someone come and inspect the pool to verify that there is no leak. he stated that he did not plan to spend any money on this. he then went on to say that he was going to go to the court on Monday to file papers to have me vacant the premises in 2 months. I stated that if wanted to do that, please go ahead, but remember at no time in our conversation did I state that if this was not corrected are at least an inspection done, did I plan on moving. I just want to know why the sudden jump in usage of water.. if it turn out that everything is ok, then that's fine. about an hour after he left, he call and had a completely different tone, and stated that he would have them take a look. my concern is if this turnaround is not legit, do I have any legal grounds to stand on. We have never had a problem before, and when I have had to pay my rent late, or in two payment within two week, I have always stated if there are any late charges please let me know, his reply no none. what steps can I take? … read more
