I want to add my husband to the property my parents left me, but I'm not sure which form to us and how to fill it out

Lawyer's Assistant: What steps have you taken so far? Have you prepared or filed any paperwork?

I have not done anything yet, i looked at a quit claim deed, but that was to take my name off and add his and i stopped there

All you need, if you want to deed it to yourselves as joint tenants, is to fill out a quitclaim deed from you to you and your husband as joint tenants, not as tenants in common, with right of survivorship.

Then record the signed, witnessed and notarized deed with the county recorder of deeds of the county where the property is located.

Well that is the form to add his name to title. If you do not understand how to fill it out then you should probably hire an attorney to prepare it and record it, to make sure it is done correctly and does not mess up the title.
