Ok, thank you

It is a problem here, he needs to file for probate of his late wife and be appointed personal representative. As PR he can then deed it to himself.Once that is done he needs to add you to the deed.Thats how you can be protected here and not be left without a roof over your head.

I appreciate the chance to help you today. Thanks

If you can positive rate 5 stars it is much appreciated.

His late wife died 20 yrs ago

I understand but if he did not open probate and have this taken care of then he can still do it now.Any time someone deceases probate is necessary here to retitle the house. It is going to be a problem for him if he wants to sell, big problem for you because you would be homeless. He needs to have lawyer fix this and you should be concerned here.I want you to be protected long term and I would hope he would too.

Are you still there, Ray?

You would inherit it if he puts you on the deed or wills it to you. This is a marriage breaker for you.
