last year we learned that the property was in tax default long story short it was sold by relatives of my husbands in march of 2016 a company bought it i have had several different people calling me and coming by the property stating they are the new owners. one of them was calling me from flordia asking me to send him 600.00 in rent for a couple of months passed. he continued to hassle me for a month, znow in nov. 2016 i find out the property sold again to an other man that has the same address on the deed i looked it up. this man sends the utility companies to turn off my utilities which didnt happen because he told them i was a squatter. which i am not. after he wasent able to turn them off. now he tells me that he will work out a rental agreement with me in two weeks but i have to move all my things into the shed until he does repairs on the place which the city is after him for. i had a friend tell me in order for him to evict me he has to give me a 60 day notice . i feel very confused do i have any rights?? … read more
