I owned residential rental property in Detroit, Michigan…

I owned residential rental property...
I owned residential rental property in Detroit, Michigan which was sold to a private investor August 22, 2017. The tenant still owes rent for July 2017, $625.00 and half of August 2017 $312.50, a total of $937.50 What is my recourse to collect the back rent.

you can sue them in small claims court for the back rents due even though you have sold the property

that is assuming you have a written lease?
