Just received eviction notice on door. No info house was even sold. I am the " previous owner

You cannot be evicted without being taken to court. That takes weeks. If you have a lease buyer takes over as landlord. Bottom line you can stay and landlord cannot use self help or lock you out. Please let me know if the reply is acceptable by responding "yes" or "acceptable"
