Hi. Dont' know if is the same law. I leased a car yesterday and I think I made a mistake how can I get out of the deal?
JA: Because laws vary from place to place, can you tell me what state the property is in?
Customer: New York
JA: Has any paperwork been filed?
Customer: Yes I drove the car out of the dealer
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: No thank you

Unfortunately, there is no cancellation period or "cooling off" period for vehicle purchases under the law. I would review the contract you signed for the vehicle lease to see if the dealership allows you to return the vehicle (some car sellers do allow this). If the contract does not allow you to return the vehicle, your options would unfortunately be limited to either keeping the vehicle or trying to negotiate something with the dealership to return the car (though they are under no legal obligation to do so).
