Customer Question

I am a renter at an apartment in Colorado Springs, CO. I am wondering if I can be evicted after not being able to pay rent after only one month. I have paid on time up until now. I lost my job and this month is hard. I am afraid they are going to evict me.
JA: Because laws vary from place to place, can you tell me what state the property is in?
Customer: Colorado
JA: Has any paperwork been filed?
Customer: No
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: I made a partial payment and signed something saying I would pay the rest before the 20th. That is when they told me the eviction process would start.

I am sorry to hear this; did they agree to accept the late paymetn and defer eviction proceedings until the 20th?
