the ass. has not trimmed trees blocking view of water for 3 years; we lost a rental because of this; all condo ass directors have unobstructed views; what do we do tomorrow at annual meeting?

The best solution would be to file a lawsuit against the HOA requesting them to enforce the policy of tree trimming, since they clearly have a policy that all of the directors fall under. Clearly they are not goiong to respond to your letters so you must litigate in the Florida courts. You wlll win and the court will give your attoneys fees and costs too, so you are in very good shape under Florida law.
