Customer Question

When I purchased my condo, the previous owner said that there are two storage units that come with the unit. He has had access and use of these units for the thirty years he owned the condo and the previous owner of the condo, who built the condo development had use of these storage units since the building was built 50 years ago.
The current Board is now saying that I need to vacate these units because according to the CCRs filed in 1979, these units aren't listed as belonging to my unit.
Do I have any recourse? Does the law of adverse possession come into play here?

Thank you for your question.

Does your deed or your contract with the seller state that those units are included in the sale?
