My daughter's fiancée is purchasing a house from his family.

Customer Question

My daughter's fiancée is purchasing a house from his family. Since my daughter does not have credit it was advised by the bank for her not to be on the mortgage. Is this a good idea? How can she be protected, since she will be contributing financially to the mortgage and upkeep of the house?

While she will not be a borrower on the mortgage, will she be in title with her fiancee' on the deed?
