Selling my mother's estate home. Have had offers to buy home

Customer Question

Selling my mother's estate home. Have had offers to buy home but we have two trailers on the property that buyers do not want. They are vacant. Belong to two siblings. What can be done to remove trailers from land so we can sell.

Olivia...Can you provide me a bit more information? Do the two siblings want the trailers? Have they been given notice to remove? Thanks.

What do we do after two months have expired

Thanks for following up. I'm sorry for the delay.....had a long conference call. Thanks for your patience. If they do not remove them after having received the two months notice, you can give them a 3-Day Notice to remove them within that period or start formal eviction proceedings. If they then fail to remove them, file a petition with the court for an eviction order. At that hearing, the court will issue the order and you can have the sheriff cause the trailers to be towed from the property.
