I was in a bankruptcy yrs and paid 60000 towards my loan.

Customer Question

I was in a bankruptcy for 3 yrs and paid 60000 towards my loan. it was supposed to all be principle. when my bk was dismissed the bank took all the money and changed it to interest. now I'm about to be out of the redemption period and I owe 120000 instead of 60000. I also had another house attached to my mortgage that sold for 55k. I owe about 65k on my loan. can the bank not use my money during the bankruptcy as principle and my loan be about paid off
