I am sorry you are dealing with this situation. If there is inaccurate information on a credit report, the FTC has a process in which you can dispute the information and each of the credit bureaus will contact the reporting creditor and request they substantiate the debt owed. Here is the link the provides the guidelines along with a sample dispute letter for disputing errors: https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0151-disputing-errors-credit-reports

In addition, here is the customer service number for Verizon 1-***-***-**** or if related to wireless service 1.***-***-**** which is likely to lead to some frustration trying to get a human on the phone.
