Can an individual use Adverse Possession to claim 5.5 feet of an easement? Must the Adverse Possessor openly physically occupy the easement ? For what time period ? I like my neighbors and am not willing to be hostile... but I am curious as the room on the back of my house encroaches into the easement 5 feet of the 10 foot easement.
