According to Texas Property Code Section 82.114(c), the Association will "annually obtain an independent audit of the records."
"An audit required by this subsection shall be performed by a certified public accountant if required by the bylaws or a vote of the board of directors or a majority vote of the members of the association voting at a meeting of the association." (Id.)
As such, the law requires an annual accounting. This is pretty much set, so there are no determining factors as the chapter calls for an annual accounting. COA bylaws may make the accounting more frequent, but they cannot make it less frequent than once a year.
