Is it possible to settle a lien on a property that came about

Customer Question

Is it possible to settle a lien on a property that came about from missed payments (almost went into foreclosure)? How would one begin doing so? Also, can the debtor call the lien due at any time? This feels scary to me if that's possible.

What type of lien? Is this a tax lien, a judgment creditors lien, a lis pendens, mechanic's lien etc., ? A debtor is the one that owes the money. Creditors are the ones that obtain judgments when they are owed money.
