Basically I signed a lease a week ago and tried cancel it a couple hours later an apartment lease. But I've been told nothing can be done.

Thank you for the information. When is the lease supposed to start? That is, when are you supposed to move in? Did the other side already signed the lease also and given you a copy of the fully executed lease? Why did you change your mind?

No I was never given a signed copy and the lease was suppose to start April 30th. I had to cancel because I didn't realize that I had to give a 60 days notice to my current property management so I can't afford two rents. But no one is returning my calls or replying to my emails. From the property that I signed the lease with. Should I go to the property since no one has replied or returned my calls.

Thank you for the information and for your patience. You should go to the property with your written notice of cancellation and hand it over to the property management. Tell them that you did not realize that you were supposed to give your current Landlord a 60-day notice before you can move out. If you still want this apartment, you may tell them to amend the lease to move the start date for the lease. Otherwise, give them the notice and if they refuse to accept it, they may decide to sue you to enforce the lease. That's your option at this time, regrettably. If the lease has been signed by all parties, you cannot force the other party to cancel the lease, unfortunately. However, you should still give a written notice of cancellation for your record because the Landlord is supposed to mitigate its damages by looking for a replacement Tenant and not leave the apartment vacant and hold you responsible for the entire lease. Your notice would start the clock on the Landlord’s efforts to find a replacement Tenant. The Court is not going to make you to pay for the whole lease if the Landlord did not make any effort to release the premises.
