Is not connected to my computer via our LAN and was for several years.

Technician's Assistant: Who makes your router?

The main router is Comcast but the Lan one is LINKSYS

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far?

Have followed the instruction with a download that tried but could not connect to the printer for diagnostic purposes. have shut off the router and the Lan and the computer and got them back on again.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?

Yes. Had not used this printer in over 2 months and the prints came out with lines and a pink smear. Change out all of the ink ad cleaned the nozzels and during this process suddenly got a message that the printer is offline

Ok, I am sorry to hear that. They weren't able to tell you why the payment didn't go through? Sometimes you can check with your bank in case they are blocking it.
