I replaced a black...

I replaced a black ink cartridge for HP Envy 5660. The print is very faint. I returned the new cartridge thinking it was the issue. However, the same malfunction continues. Ideas?

I still need help. The printer is printing appropriately, however, the ink intensity is extremely poor. I have purchased two new ink cartridges , both with the same results.

It is a problem with the printhead because printhead is the part of the printer which puts ink onto the paper.
