R3000 has stopped printing PB and MB after new cartridges were installed

Technician's Assistant: Are you getting any error messages? Are you able to open the lid that covers the cartridges on your printer?

No messages Lid OK

Still won't print Photo Black or Matte Black.

So to clarify have you tried updating the drivers and firmware of the R3000 printer?

Replaced driver and firmware.
Removed and reinstalled printer.
Replaced both cartridges.
Cleaned heads and nozzles.
Tried both printer controls and Photoshop controls printing.
Tried printing from Publisher.
All colors except blacks print OK.

Does it print from another program black letters? like a test page?

Test page prints medium gray using the other light and medium black cartridges.

Understood.

Can we please try the following:

Try powering off the printer, pull the power cable out of the printer, wait for 1 minute, then put the power cable back in. After this try printing again.

Powered off and on. Still prints medium gray.

Just for testing, does the prints also are medium grey from another device? Like a cell phone or pc.

Tried printing from Photoshop from a different computer. Still no black.

There's no "print black only option" on the printer. A 100% black image still prints gray.

How many times have you run a nozzle check?

Did it several times plus cleaning. Doing it again and running a cleaning sheet through. No improvement
