Hello, My HP Officejet Pro 8630 has suddenly stopped scanning. The message is to configure my laptop.

Technician's Assistant: What kind of computer or device are you printing from?

I am wanting to scan to my Dell laptop

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your OfficeJet?

Just happened a day or 2 ago. I am wondering if using my committee's Acer to print on the HP OfficeJet has caused a problem.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?

Can't think of anything else thanks.
