Our printer has not...

Our printer has not been receiving messages from the computer. The computer is a Dell, with windows 12, the printer is a Lexmark 2600, in the window of the printer, the letters E and J keep coming up when the printer is turned on.

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your Lexmark printer?

For about 6 months

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update the Operating System (OS) on the computer or device you're printing from?

I am not aware that we have done so

We are somewhat rookies and so that is probably all for now

With the printer powered on, remove the power cord from the back.
