My lenovo flex is not printing text, just pdf formatting. Prints lines and rectangles but not the text inside boxes. please help. thank you

Technician's Assistant: Have you tried running your printer's self-cleaning cycle? (Sometimes you have to run this several times to see results.)

No I have not. Is that what I should try first?

Technician's Assistant: The Printer Technician will be able to walk you through that. Have you tried wiping down the metal contacts on your printer and cartridges?

printer will print drawings that i send from my Lenovo, but will not print text. Page comes out blank or with a few empty boxes where text should go..

they have color. they are Corel Draw. Word and Adobe pdf are the problem

Please do the following for me on the printer:

  1. Press the Home button (It resembles a house)
  2. Press Setup (It resembles tools)
  3. Press Maintenance
  4. Press Print Head Cleaning
  5. All Colors
  6. Follow the on screen instructions.
  7. Repeat no more than 5 times if necessary

Please let me know if this solves your issue

It does not seem to be a font issue. Do you have Windows 10 on your laptop?

Please do the following for me:

  1. Click the start button
  2. Click on "Settings" (It is the gear icon)
  3. Click on "Devices"
  4. Click on "Printers & Scanners" on the left side
  5. Select your printer
  6. Click remove
  7. Go back to the settings menu
  8. Click on "Apps"
  9. Search "Epson"
  10. Uninstall all of the printer Drivers and software
  11. Install the Driver and Utilities Combo Package (1st) and the Firmware Update (2nd) from this link:
    1. https://epson.com/Support/Printers/All-In-Ones/WorkForce-Series/Epson-WorkForce-WF-7620/s/SPT_C11CC97201#drivers

Does the error persist?
