I have a new Canon Pixma mx922. I get a paper jam error and there is no paper jammed in the printer.

Technician's Assistant: What kind of computer or device are you printing from?

Dell and hp won't print from either. it worked fine for several days

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your Pixma?

Just today

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update the Operating System (OS) on the computer or device you're printing from?

What do you mean updat the os?

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?

Defrag? clear browsing history? i already filled it out and gave my credit card info

when i troubleshoot, it says making the canon mx920 series FAX WS the default printer might allow applications ot print to it

Please try removing upper and lower casset like this and use torch light or blower once in it ,May be some dust particles are causing this problem:-
