I have a PIXMA...

I have a PIXMA 780 printer. It has worked fine and I use all of its functions. I tried to replace the ink with the Cannon ind and I get a blocking error which says "wrong Catridge" . These are the right ink cartridges which I have used for years. How do I solve this problem of non recognition?

Technician's Assistant: Are you getting any error messages? If so, what do they say?
