My brother printer DCP-L2540DW...

My brother printer DCP-L2540DW stopped scanning using a wireless network connection. I get the error message "error occurred while connecting with the scanner -9923." However, I'm able to print from my laptop to the printer using wireless connection without any problem. Any suggestions to the fix are appreciated!

Technician's Assistant: Is your DCP-L2540DW displaying the error on all print jobs, even after you restart it?

Only when I try to use the scanner from my laptop using a wireless connection.

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update the printer driver software?

Yikes - good question! Not sure if at all! What should I do?

Technician's Assistant: The Printer Technician will be able to walk you through that. Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?
