I installed a Canon...

I installed a Canon Pixma TS8060 in October last year connected to my iMac running MacOS 10.13.2. Printer has always worked and still does. Scanning was good but last few weeks I get a message: "A required file is missing or corrupted or settings are incorrect" . I have reinstalled the printer scanner but problem still exists.

Technician's Assistant: Is there an error code on your Pixma when you try to scan?

No.

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update the printer driver software?

Was done when installed early October 2017 but not since.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?
