I changed carriers and now my HP Printer 5740 62 XL will not to my computer. Can you please help?

Sorry, the payment for remote has failed. So I will help you here.

We need to connect the printer to your new WiFi network and then add it back to your Mac.

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already turned on.
  2. On the printer control panel, select the Wireless icon.
    The Wireless Summary screen appears.
  3. Select Settings, and then select Wireless Setup Wizard. (Tap Wireless Settings if you see that)
  4. Follow the instructions on the control panel to connect the printer to your new wireless network.

Now on your Mac, go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Printers and Scanners. You will see your printer name there. Select it and delete it by pressing the minus button at bottom left. After deleting it, click + button.

Don't add it if it appear under Nearby Printers. Instead click Add Printer. From the resulting screen, select your printer name and wait 10 seconds. Then select HP software under Use if Secure Air Print or Air Print is selected. That will add it to your Mac with new WiFi address.

Select the printer name with the Kind showing Bonjour Mulitfunction or Multifunction.

If you don't see that, then tell me what is showing on "Kind" column on each name
