I have just bought a new Laptop and am having trouble getting the Epson XP420 recognised

Technician's Assistant: What kind of computer or device are you printing from?

A HP laptop

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your XP420?

It was working OK with my old ACER laptop but I have tried to get it working with my new one , but no luck so far

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update the Operating System (OS) on the computer or device you're printing from?

Yesterday, all updates are up to date

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?

Not really I have tried connecting through Device manager but it doesn't show up
