I firstly need to add a printer - I have a canon mx924

Technician's Assistant: What kind of computer or device are you printing from?

A dell laptop

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your MX924?

On and off for about a year but today all day and i cannot add the printer

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update the Operating System (OS) on the computer or device you're printing from?

I think it was done a year ago when I had a technician

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?

I have to connect by cable because lightning wiped out my modem so do not have wifi
