Why will my Epson WF2760 not accept "draft mode" as a print type (to save ink)?

A desktop Mac

Since day One; since I bought it.

Well, somehow the printer solved it itself. The Mac has always recognized (??) two essentially identical Epson WF-2760 printers. Why? Dunno. Did I do some "double install"? Nope. The second one recognizes draft mode as a printing option. The first one has driver version 2.0, the second one version 9.81. Why the vast diff? Dunno. I did just update the printer's drivers but I believe both those #'s have been there for... a year.My suggestion? Don't get an Epson printer. They're hard to configure, and they drink ink like it's free beer.So, y'all can forget about my query. I've given up.

I would like to suggest, that to prevent problems in the future, you select the driver-version-2.0 and then Remove Device, or Delete that install. It is probably a 'default driver', and the version-9.81 is the true and complete and up-to-date install of the full driver set. You don't need the older or lesser version 2.0 driver at all.
