I am having to...

I am having to reprogram my 583cx and it won't let me set the tax rate. I am doing exactly as it says. Turn key to Program, then 1 and Tax 1, then for 7% typing 7000 and them amount tend total, but its not working, it will not put in the tax

I had a power surge, so ia m resetting it up. I programed the date and time, no problems but won't let me enter the tax info

When typing in the 7000 for 7%, should their be decimals on the screen?
