I have an Epson...

I have an Epson MFC 2650 I keep getting message that scanner is warming up but it never seems to warm up.

Technician's Assistant: Is there an error code on your Epson printer when you try to scan?

No I am just getting the message Scanner warming up

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update the printer driver software?

I don't know. I have not manually updated at all. The last time was able to scan was December 9, 2017. I This is first time I have tried since then. I don't know if have automatic updates or not.

Can you please remove the power to the printer (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the printer, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

I do not have time no I have to get to court so I will have to scan this in at the law library
