Opened file and loaded it. Printer responded and request I print test page. Error message popped up saying- Open Scanner unit and remove paper jam. Could not find any paper. Said to cancel all print jobs and open scanner and remove jam. That is the current status of error message.

Please once remove the cartridges and make a clean check for any foreign objects or for some bits of paper.

Cartridge carrier is all the way over to right side of printer. cannot raise lid to remove printer cartridges.

Okay,

  1. Press the Setup button.
  2. Press the arrow buttons to select Restore Default Settings and press the OK button.
  3. Reset All Settings: Resets all control panel settings.
  4. You see a confirmation screen.
  5. Select Yes and press the OK button to reset the selected settings.

Printer beeps 3 times and repeats same message. Pushing the setup button does not work and printer error message continues to be displayed.
