I just bought a used but very nice computer and I want to take it back to factory settings. What do I do.

Technician's Assistant: What's the brand and model of your printer?

HP but it is a laptop;

I have an HP and it is Windows 10

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your laptop? Have you installed any updates recently?

no issues if you can't find it

since you wish to run a factory reset on the PC, let me know that is the computer able to boot to windows and are you able to open files on the laptop

in the windows search box at the bottom tray, type settings and open settings from search results. the settings window will open

  1. Select "Update & security"
  2. Click Recovery in the left pane. ...
  3. Click Get started under Reset this PC.
  4. Click "Remove everything,
