I keep getting a message to install the black Ink Cartridge

I keep getting a message to install the black Ink Cartridge even though I have and it is a new cartridge.
JA: What's the model of your printer?
Customer: MFPM127fw
JA: Are you getting any error messages? Are you able to open the lid that covers the cartridges on your printer?
Customer: Yes am able to open and close and have tried to remove and reinstall the cartridge a few times
JA: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: It keeps saying install cartridge

Can you please remove the power to the printer (so unplug it from the power socket).
