My OKI DP5000 printer...

My OKI DP5000 printer is saying the driver is not compatible to the driver installed.

Technician's Assistant: What kind of computer or device are you printing from?

A windows XP machine the driver is a win2K but does install into XP and should apparently work.

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your DP5000?

I only recently purchased it and so haven't used it yet.

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update the Operating System (OS) on the computer or device you're printing from?

Not for a while and I have just tried on a separate machine and am getting the same result.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?

Ok - can you unplug the printer from the power supply while the printer is off and hold in the power button on it for 30 seconds.

BTW the error message when printing is:_the printer model detected is not compatible with this printer driver.

Sounds like the model code has been taken from the NV and it is not passing to the driver.

How are you connected? USB or Wireless?

OK - to allow me to connect to your PC/MAC, you must install remote access software. The software is below, use the "Family and Friends" version. It's free.

Once installed I need the ID and Password ***** displays, i do not need the one you created, I am looking for the one that TeamViewer gives you when you open the program.
