I have an Epson...

I have an Epson XP-420. It has decided, as did two other epson I had, that it didn't want to print properly. I get a perfectly clear line and then a smudged one that is not readable. I cleaned the nozzles, nothing, cleaned all - nothing.

Technician's Assistant: What's the brand and model of your printer?

Put in new cartridges, nothing. I don't have a printer. OK - again, I have an Epsom XP-420

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your printer?

About a week so I have a line-up of things I need to print.

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update the Operating System (OS) on the computer or device you're printing from?

I have no idea. It's done automatically .

My Epson XP-420 doesn't want to print consistently. One line great, the new smudged. I have cleaned using all buttons listed. I have put in new ink cartridges. Nothing.

With the printer powered on, remove the power cord from the back.
