I just purchased a Canon PIXMA MX922. I have taken all of the wrappings and orange tapes off. However, I'm getting a Support Code 5101, telling me to remove orange tape on holder. There is no tape there.

Technician's Assistant: Is your Pixma displaying the error on all print jobs, even after you restart it?

It's displayed when I turn on the machine. I haven't tried printing yet.

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update the printer driver software?

The printer driver software for this new machine?

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?

All I know is I'm trying to set up my Canon machine by reading the "Getting Started" instructions. And the first thing it tells me is to turn on the machine and set the "language" but the only thing I get is Support Code 5101 with the orange tape on holder message.

No, I do not. I got totally frustrated with using your website and besides my problem was worse than just not being able to set up the printer. After 5 hours with Microsoft, they took care of the issue.
