ok. on the computer open control panel

open devices and printers

right click on canon printer icon

in the menu that pops up click on start scan

let me know if it gives you the scan window or not

ok ..now if you check this document should be in the mydocuments folder under scanned documents with todays date as name of file

you can attach this scanned file to email or use it

repeat the same process for all your scans

in my documents do you have a sub folder of scanned documents or scans

yes you should..i believe since the onscreen prompts show up you must have done that. my apologies if i missed on mentioning it

please import and before clicking import you can see the location listed where its going to save the file

Follow these steps
Click here for remote assistance
in the page that opens you will see just answer remote desktop..scroll down the page and click on i agree
it will download a file Elsinore screen connect exe at bottom of screen
once its downloaded, open\run the file ..you can double click on it to run it
once it starts to run it will ask do you want to allow the file to make changes...say yes to it
