I have Canon MG5220...

I have Canon MG5220. I use MP Navigator EX when scanning and I make PDF files with it. However when I updated my Mac to macOS High Sierra the application would no longer run. Can I get an updated version of MP NAVIGATOR THAT IS compatible with the OS and the printer?

Technician's Assistant: What is the machine's exact make and model? And can you guesstimate how old it is?

The printer/scanner is Canon MG5220. I am guessing about 5 years old.

Technician's Assistant: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?

IMac running macOS High Sierra version 10.13.1

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?

It has been a problem since updated to macOS High Sierra about a week ago.

Perhaps you need to try installing the Scanner Driver for 10.13 from this page:

and then after that, the MP Navigator EX from this page's 'Software' tab:

https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/support-inkjet-printer/mg-series/pixma-mg5220?subtab=downloads-software

which is what you have asked for - but the updated scanner driver may also be needed.
