I have reset my...

I have reset my printing system after 'no printer is connected' problems, and downloaded the latest driver for my MX455 printer and scanner. I am now trying to add the printer.

Technician's Assistant: What's the exact make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?

I am getting Bonjour Scanner when I go to Canon MX450 but no printer notice. About 5 years old. Had no trouble before.

Technician's Assistant: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?

MacOS High Sierra 10.13.1

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?

I have always been able to go to network settings and reset it. Just before this popped up I successfully printed two pages.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?

I don't think so.

Before we proceed with any troubleshooting,please once unplug your printer from the wall outlet wait for 2 minutes and plug it back in.
