Dear Canon,

Technician's Assistant: What's the make/model number of your printer? How old is it?

I purchased a Canon 920 series MX926 printer.

Technician's Assistant: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?

PC running XP professional - the only way I can scan anything from this [expletives] printer is via the control panel since neither the download using the disk supplied nor the ioonline version will install completley.

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?

Ever since I was persuaded to purchased the printer two months ago [yes- I had opened a case (now closed) with Canon and the advice has not resolved the problem how to fully install the drivers (which I assume is where the problem lies)].

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?
