I have a HP Envy 5642 that wont print or anything.

Technician's Assistant: Can you guesstimate how old your HP is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?

Maybe a year or so old. It is an all in one 5642.

Technician's Assistant: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?

PC. Windows?

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?

I had this problem before and it has something to do with my computer going off line and then the printer wont' work the next time I use it.

I'm sorry about the issue. Is the printer connected to the computer with a USB cable? Or is the connection wireless?

Are you currently able to make a copy from the printer's glass (not printing from the computer)?
