I have a 440CN w/ four cartridges. It said Black was not in.

I installed a brand new...
I have a 440CN w/ four cartridges. It said Black was not in. I installed a brand new black ink cartridge and it said the same I installed a second new black cartridge. It keeps saying "No cartridge"!! What is wrong

It was printing until I ran out of ink. then it started printing and then just stopped?

I'm spending more than the printer cost. I'm going direct to the manufacturer. Cancel my card.
