All of a sudden...

All of a sudden, I can't print. It's connected to my desktop computer via WiFi. When I try to print, I get an error message:

Technician's Assistant: What's the make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?

Printer not responding. Canon Pixma 870. ~5 years old

Technician's Assistant: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?

PC using Windows 7 Professional

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?

Just today. Nothing that I know of.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?

It scanned and faxed ok and printed the fax transmission report ok.
