I have a color...

I have a color imageclass MF8580Cw that has stopped making copies can you give me some ideas as what to do. the tones is fine

Technician's Assistant: What's the make/model number of your printer? How old is it?

Imageclass MF8580Cw probably 4 or 5 years old

Technician's Assistant: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?

I use a mac but everything goes through the WiFi router

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?

This has been going on for about a year and I was just tired of fiddling with it but I would really like to make copies. The printer works fine. It just seemed to stop. I had gotten a new router but the printer worked just not the copy feature

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?

Ok - can you unplug the printer from the power supply while the printer is on and hold in the power button on it for 30 seconds.
