We have an HP 100 and the battery is shot how do we get a new one?

Technician's Assistant: Can you guesstimate how old your HP is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?

Technician's Assistant: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?

Had it in storage for a couple of years and did't pull the battery out.

That type of failure is normal with age for this type of battery especially if sitting unused for so long.

You can replace the battery however, and luckily parts are still available and relatively inexpensive. You may purchase a replacement battery here: http://amzn.to/2fjnSgs
