I need help to set up a Samsung CLX6200FX. It is showing a message to say MP paper tray empty. I have it set for Tray 1 and have changed the computer settings to tray 1. Can you help please

Double checked settings on computer - paper tray set as Tray 1. Made the default settings on the printer A.4 Tray 1 and it gives the message that it is printing and then give the message MP Tray empty. This message is appearing constantly

ok, wipe the tray down with a damp cloth, then dry it with a dry cloth

Then put the paper back in

Can you click on start, type in control and click on control panel

Then type in devices and click on devices and printers.

Right click the printer and select remove

Then restart, go back to deivces and printers, click add printer and add it again

Tell me if it then works please.

It is the Sensor on the papertray that has faulted, it is not detecting any paper at all, and this is where the fault lies.

You will need to have the sensor replace, this is what is causing the issue sorry, the reseller will need to do this.
